Although I was born in Chile, I consider Strasbourg to be my home town as I grew up there, and met my husband there as well, so it’s always with great pleasure that we stroll the streets of this gem of a town with our children. On top of having the most beautiful cathedral in the world and a perfectly preserved medieval town within the town, it is now a haven of peace as most of it’s town centre is pedestrian, and any street opened to car traffic is considered a shared space with pedestrians and bikes, so 20 km\/h zone….so wish our deciders in Marseille could visit Strasbourg and see the light…<\/p>\n

By the cathedral, the frontage of the \u00ab\u00a0Maison Kammerzel\u00a0\u00bb build 1427, now a hotel-restaurant<\/p>\n

Open door week-end at the Opera du Rhin, as part of the \u00ab\u00a0tous a l’Opera\u00a0\u00bb week-end in France: guided tour and demonstrations of lighting schemes within the opera, display of costumes and make-up sessions outside, and open reherseals of the \u00ab\u00a0Chasseurs de perles\u00a0\u00bb opera due to open soon.<\/p>\n
