It was almost destroyed by WWII and left abandoned until the 80&rsquo;s.<\/p>\n<p>It was painstakingly resonated in 2003 by architect David Chipperfield who chose to leave the traces of destruction apparent in the raw brick walls, minimal wall finishes, and very little restauration of the XIX century stucco decoration, the result, enhancing the egyptian artefacts and mixing all layers of
