The decoration media attention on Brooklyn has been so strong lately, that it has been impossible to escape the curiosity of discovering this new mecca. This how we ended one December sunday morning, crossing under the river to explore Brooklyn flea, just a as we religiously used to do 20 years ago on 6th avenue..

A lot of vintage and industrial, and also Brooklyn-manufactured stuff, the flea market is actually rather a high-end Brocante, especially for the prices that make St Ouen look like a bargain, no wonder Americans ship entire containers out to the us!! Anyway, a lot of fun, and some nice souvenirs

And also a enormous bar/cafe with a choice of locavore menus, and a DJ starting at lunch time, yumm 🙂

And to finish, vintage shops, Brooklyn views, and THE bridge, seen from land and from the boat on the way back to Manhattan
